Why It Works

The farm is dog-friendly as a matter of course, and in a landscape built for walking that is not a small thing. Kivik itself is apple country and the orchards start at the field boundary. Simrishamn and the fishing villages of the coast road lie a short drive south. For a stay with an animal, the practical point is that everything worth doing begins on foot from the car park, and the lanes out here carry almost no traffic.
